Yesterday I was feeling a little down. I haven’t talked about it on here before, but my right knee has been bothering me lately and I guess I was just hoping it’d pass and feel better. My mom says it’s because running is hard on your knees and legs (which I agree) but I think it’s more then that. I haven’t been running too much, and never on two consecutive days.
I finally made the decision to get it checked out, just in case. I have an appointment on Thursday and I’m hoping that it’s nothing major. I’m feeling a little down because I’m so excited to run the half marathon, and I don’t want something getting in my way of training for it. But on the other hand, I’d rather prevent anything from happening now, then wait until it’s much worse. But I will run that half marathon. I am not wasting almost $100 on that entry fee ;)
peanut butter panda puffs, 1/2 a banana, and some almond milk
grilled banana wrap w/ better n’ peanut butter and cinnamon, along with amy’s chunky tomato bisque, and some carrots w/ hummus
iced oatmeal cookie zbar (the closest thing I will eat to dessert during lent ;)) and a small iced coffee w/ soy milk (recycled photo)
a handful of pretzels w/ the rest of TJs hummus
veggie mac and cheese atop a bed of steamed kale, with a cara cara orange on the side
pumpkin vitatop w/ pb, frozen grapes, and some peas on the side (for my knee ;))
Lots of school work to get done today (I have 3 quizzes/tests this week!) and my first day of work! Wish me luck ;) Have a happy Wednesday!
