Fearless

Fearless is having fears. Fearless is having doubts. Lots of them. Fearless is getting back up and fighting for what you want over and over again, even though every time you’ve tried before, you’ve lost. It’s fearless to have faith that someday things will change….Letting go is fearless. Then, moving on and being alright, that’s fearless too.” ~ Taylor Swift

My sister mentioned on her blog last week, her “word” for the year. She had heard of other bloggers having a specific word that they want to live by for the current year. Immediately I loved this idea and knew right away what my word would be: post_project_fearless1-594x210

It’s no secret that I love Taylor Swift. One of the reasons I love her is because of how talented of a song writer she is. I mean, how does she even come up with some of her lyrics? I think that if she had never become a famous musician, she would’ve written novels or did something with writing.

Anyways, Fearless is my favorite album by her, and one of my favorite songs in general. Ever since she released that album, I’ve been obsessed with the word fearless.

fear·less

adjective
without fear; bold or brave

2013 will be my fearless year. Whenever I am in tricky situation, I will try to remember the meaning of the word. Not necessarily will I always be absent of fear (because life can be fearful at times), but I will remember the second part of the definition: bold or brave.

Just like my sister, I ordered a ring with the word on it, so everyday I can be reminded to live fearlessly.
I encourage you to do the same.
Peace and Love,
Molly
If you had to pick one word to live 2013 by, what would it be?
What does ‘fearless’ mean to you?

  1. I agree with alex- fearless is such a great word and can encompass so many different aspects of your life. I hope you can be fearless just like your idol. Also, I think it’s so cool that your sisters blog too!!

  2. I absolutely love this post and word. It’s a strong yet beautiful sounding word (wow I sound so cheesy). Also, it’s one of my favorite Tswift songs too! :) That’s a great idea how you chose to make a ring of it too, definitely a cute/inspirational idea for the new year.
