I have to start out by sharing a quote that Amanda posted yesterday on her {amazing} blog.
She made a good point while talking about our lives and most of us thinking they’re boring. Yes my life may be boring for some, but for me, I love it. I was thinking about this the other day and realized I feel like I don’t really share what’s going on in my life, besides weekend recaps, some food pics, and the occasional survey. It’s not that I don’t want to share more things about my life, it’s more of me thinking no one will care.
I have days where I want to blog, but cannot think of anything. Sure I have things I could talk about, but either don’t know how to put them into words, or don’t know how to make a post about it. This year, I vow to change that. I know I love reading about other bloggers lives, so maybe readers like to read about mine? If not, hey that’s cool too. Anyways, this post is kind of all over the place, but what’s been on my mind. Here’s a little recap of my weekend…made up of marvelous little things.
-Hitting up the gym after work and getting in a great workout before a little road trip.
-Going to Purdue (again) with my best friend to visit some friends.
-Eating a ginormous salad. Followed by the best ice cream.
-Staying up until 4am late watching movies (and Rugrats on Netflix…) and making memories.
Saturday
-Coming home to a delicious, (not-so-nutritious) breakfast.
panera’s cinnamon crunch bagel FTW
-Finally getting motivated to get in a quick little workout.
I guess I was in a purple mood
-Finishing ‘The City’ on Netlifx. Time for a new show!
-Celebrating my dad’s birthday with my entire family.
the only pic I took all night. Not surprisingly, it happens to be of food…
Sunday
-Waking up and realizing I got 12 hours of [much needed] sleep
-Having a pancake breakfast with coffeecoffeecoffee.
-Trying Starbuck’s new vanilla spice latte. [really good!]
-Spending the afternoon catching up on homework.
-Ending the day watching some TV (but not the Super Bowl because I couldn’t care less about football
) and going to bed early.
…
Enjoy the little things today my friends. They may end up being the big things<3
Peace and Love,
Molly

I completely agree with you…but I think bloggers love hearing about what other bloggers are up to! I’m glad you had a good weekend – I love the vanilla spice latte too!
I know I like reading about other bloggers lives
And I would definitely get that latte again!
I don’t like watching the superbowl either. We don’t have cable so I had a good excuse. I sometimes worry about that too but I like reading what other people are up to so never worry about that with me!! It sounds like a pretty marvelous weekend if you ask me! The simpler, the better. Everything can be fixed with a little ice cream and pancakes
I certainly agree
Sounds like you had a great weekend! Those Panera bagels are so delicious and dangerous! Haven’t had one in years!
They hardly keep me full, but every once in a while I love having one
Happy Belated Birthday to your dad!
I used to get that panera bagel EVERY morning on my way to work long ago, I would eat it plain, not even toasted! Loved it!
Hope you have a great week! <3
Thank you! They are the best bagels in my opinion
Happy Monday!
gosh I need that kind of sleep, you must have needed it. glad you got to be with family this weekend!
It was SO needed! Haha
I have a hard time posting about what I do in a day too because I never think anyone will care… but somehow, people keep reading
I think it’s about the person more than it is about what they do. I read blogs because it feels like talking to a friend and I like hearing about their lives
I couldn’t agree more
That salad looks AMAZING! I love all of the veggies. I wish more salads had little corn cobs
It was pretty good (minus the dressing)! I used to love baby corn when I was younger and I always forget about it when I make salads at home!
I think the little things in life are the most interesting to read about because they are different for everyone! A pancake breakfast and coffee on Sundays may just need to be a universal thing though.
I second that
