Marvelous {In List Form}

How is it Monday already? I swear I was just saying that it was Friday. If only the weekdays could go as fast as the weekends seem to fly by…

This weekend was marvelous indeed. I ended up doing more than I had planned on, but that was a-okay with me :) Since I’m in a “list” type mood, here are some marvelous moments, in list form, from the weekend.

Friday

-Getting in a much needed, great 5-mile run. I honestly didn’t feel like running and was thinking about doing something else instead, but knew that once I got going I wouldn’t regret it. It also helped that I made a new playlist to listen to! You can expect to see that tomorrow :)

-Taking a spur of the moment trip to visit some friends at Purdue…for the third weekend in a row. I had planned on going to Starbucks all afternoon to finish up my homework, but instead, got The Bux to-go and enjoyed it while listening to T-Swizzle while taking a quick road trip with the bestie. Definitely marvelous.get-attachment.aspx

if only it would’ve been sunny and warm like last fall

-Writing another parody with said best friend in less than an hour. Is there a way to be a professional parody writer? Because if so, we want that job ;)

Saturday

-Spending three hours finishing up all my homework so I wouldn’t have to worry about it anymore over the weekend. Doing the actual homework not so marvelous, but the feeling of having completed it definitely was :)

-Catching up (finally!) on How I Met Your Mother. Emily and Jordan came over in the afternoon and so we finally could sit down and watch Robin Sparkles 4! Can I just say that I love that show so much? Because I do.580562_10151450783882277_33739612_n

-Decorating Valentine’s cookies with the fam.get-attachment.aspx

And eating a few in the process… ;)

Sunday

-Getting 12-hours of sleep. Two weeks in a row! It must be a Saturday night thing  ;)

-Going to Trader Joe’s to get groceries for the week (going grocery shopping is indeed marvelous).

-Stopping by Costco to grab a few things and getting some froyo on the way out.get-attachment.aspx

for less than $2 I might add. That stuff is good.

-Getting off work an hour and a half early. A wonderful, wonderful thing.

Congrats to Katie and Mike on finding out they are expecting a little boy!

Have a marvelous day, friends<3

Peace and Love,

Molly

  1. I love TJ’s. And baking cookies with the fam. And getting off work early. You certainly had a pretty marvelous weekend. I can totally relate to not feeling like running but going anyways because you know you’ll be glad you did. It works every time! Have a great day, girl :)

  2. Oh my goodness those Valentines cookies look incredible! Have massive cookie envy now, I made some last night but they look very plain compared to your beautiful creations! Your fro yo also looks delicious, yum!

  3. I love lists (I especially love blog posts in the form of lists!) Those cookies look soo good! I saw that Emily had posted a picture of one on Instagram over the weekend. I wanted to jump through the phone and eat one. Iced sugar cookies really are one of the best treats :)

  4. YOU are SO sweet! Thank you for the congrats at the end! Gahhhh so sweet! Thanks Molly!

I am glad you had a great weekend and as you know, I want one of those cookies ;) I already asked on instagram, ha!

  5. Stop taunting me with pictures of cookies and froyo when I can’t currently get my hands on either of those two! Grrr girl. Glad to hear that you had such a marvelous weekend! I can completely relate to the feeling of not anting to get up and move, but then feeling amazing afterwards. And speaking of amazing… having the weight of homework off your shoulders is definitely that. Happy Monday, Molly!
